Perspective Series in the Little Theatre


Photographer Elizabeth Herman joins us at the Center to discuss the Redefining Representation portrait series. Herman will explore the history of the art form, and talk about the inspiration behind the portraits, the photographic process, and what it was like working with the women of the 116th Congress.

This event is free and unticketed.

Lamb of God

Come experience a community music performance like no other! Musicians from performing groups and congregations throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region have joined together to present Rob Gardner’s oratorio Lamb of God. The music retells the final days, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ through choir, full orchestra, soloists, and narration. Lamb of God is performed every year around the world by thousands of musicians across dozens of faiths. Join us as this event comes to our area with local and internationally acclaimed soloists and musicians.

Perspective Series in the Saints & Sinners Lounge

Here:Say Storytelling and the Midland Center for the Arts present ROAR! Invited local performers will tell true, first-person stories about trying to change the world, or their own corner of it, by embracing the anthem “I am woman, hear me roar!” This live storytelling event will be staged in March to coincide with Women’s History Month.
