Explore the great outdoors across the United States without leaving Midland with the Grammy Award-winning Okee Dokee Brothers. Joe and Justin have adventured around the country and written Americana folk music for all ages inspired by their travels along the Mississippi River, up and down the Appalachian Trail, across the desert, and dogsledding through the winter snow.

Join the Okee Dokee Brothers at Chippewa Nature Center on Saturday March 14 for an outdoor adventure and a songwriting circle. The event is free; space is limited and preregistration is required through the Chippewa Nature Center.

The four-time Parents’ Choice Award winners have garnered praise from the likes of NPR’sAll Things ConsideredandUSA Today, and have been called “two of family music’s best songwriters.”

AGE RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended for 1st to 6th Grade.

TICKET HOLDERS:

Explore how animals live in the winter before the Okee Dokee Brothers performance! Create your own animal print field guide and bird binoculars to use at the Chippewa Nature Center. Don’t forget to hike on over to the AB Dow Museum during your visit! Activities will begin at 5 pm.
